Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Ricardo Martínez could be acquired at Christies in New York in September last year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Latin American Art auction, the work Figura yacente sobre fondo rojo changed hands for USD 48,000.00 (€ 49,064.70) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 80,000.00 – 120,000.00. Admittedly, works by Ricardo Martínez have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Figura Yacente in May 2013 with an auction result of USD 257,000.00 (€ 197,874.96).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Ricardo Martínez konnte im September letzten Jahres bei Christies in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden.
