The work Flute Player by Reuven Rubin was sold in the Modern Day Auction auction at Sothebys in New York in May last year. The »bidding war« ended at USD 69,300.00 (€ 64,579.26), 39% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Reuven Rubin have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Road To Meron in December 2015 with an auction result of USD 634,000.00 (€ 583,847.50).

Die Arbeit Flute Player von Reuven Rubin wurde im Mai letzten Jahres in der Auktion Modern Day Auction bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 69.300,00 (€ 64.579,26) und damit 39% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Reuven Rubin auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Road To Meron im Dezember 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 634.000,00 (€ 583.847,50).
