Auction result well in line with expectations
In November this year Bonhams in New York held the auction Impressionist & Modern Art, which included the work Fisherman's Family by Reuven Rubin. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 44,800.00 (€ 41,070.77) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Reuven Rubin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Road To Meron in December 2015 with an auction result of USD 634,000.00 (€ 583,847.50).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November diesen Jahres führte Bonhams in New York die Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Fisherman's Family von Reuven Rubin zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 44.800,00 (€ 41.070,77) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Reuven Rubin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Road To Meron im Dezember 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 634.000,00 (€ 583.847,50).
