In May last year Bonhams in New York held the auction Impressionist & Modern Art, which included the work The Flute Player by Reuven Rubin. The »bidding war« ended at USD 44,475.00 (€ 41,445.35), 27% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Reuven Rubin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Road To Meron in December 2015 with an auction result of USD 634,000.00 (€ 583,847.50).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 27 % übertroffen
Im Mai letzten Jahres führte Bonhams in New York die Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Flute Player von Reuven Rubin zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 44.475,00 (€ 41.445,35) und damit 27% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Reuven Rubin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Road To Meron im Dezember 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 634.000,00 (€ 583.847,50).
