This artwork by Rembrandt Bugatti achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in February 2020. In the Impressionist & Modern Art Day Sale, auction, the work Lévrier Couché sold for GBP 200,000.00 (€ 231,800.45) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 100,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Rembrandt Bugatti achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Babouin Sacré Hamadryas in May 2015 with an auction result of USD 2,770,000.00 (€ 2,519,556.12).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 100 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Rembrandt Bugatti erzielte im Februar 2020 bei Sothebys in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art Day Sale, wurde die Arbeit Lévrier Couché für GBP 200.000,00 (€ 231.800,45) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 100.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Rembrandt Bugatti erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Babouin Sacré Hamadryas im Mai 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 2.770.000,00 (€ 2.519.556,12).
