Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Faon Axis by Rembrandt Bugatti was auctioned at Christies in Paris in October last year. The price achieved of EUR 63,000.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Rembrandt Bugatti achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Babouin Sacré Hamadryas in May 2015 with an auction result of USD 2,770,000.00 (€ 2,519,556.12).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Faon Axis von Rembrandt Bugatti kam im Oktober letzten Jahres bei Christies in Paris zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 63.000,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 50.000,00 – 70.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Rembrandt Bugatti erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Babouin Sacré Hamadryas im Mai 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 2.770.000,00 (€ 2.519.556,12).
