In May 2008 Phillips in New York held the auction Contemporary Art Part II, which included this untitled work by Reena Saini Kallat. The »bidding war« ended at USD 61,000.00 (€ 39,203.08), 22% above the upper estimate. With this result, this work without title is even the most expensive work of art by Reena Saini Kallat that we have observed at auctions so far.
