Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Theodor, Jacob and I by Rebecca Brodskis was sold in the Post-War to Present auction at Christies in London in September this year. The price achieved of USD 15,120.00 (€ 14,285.71) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Rebecca Brodskis - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Amour Propre (Self-Respect), which sold at auction in June last year for HKD 239,400.00 (€ 29,133.21).

Die Arbeit Theodor, Jacob and I von Rebecca Brodskis wurde im September diesen Jahres in der Auktion Post-War to Present bei Christies in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 15.120,00 (€ 14.285,71) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 12.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Rebecca Brodskis mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Amour Propre (Self-Respect) beobachtet, die im Juni letzten Jahres für HKD 239.400,00 (€ 29.133,21) versteigert wurde.
