Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In November last year Phillips in Hong Kong held the auction 20th Century & Contemporary Art & Design Day Sale in association with Yongle, which included the work Tania-Maria by Rebecca Brodskis. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 81,900.00 (€ 10,163.12), 17% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Rebecca Brodskis - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Amour Propre (Self-Respect), which sold at auction in June last year for HKD 239,400.00 (€ 29,133.21).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im November letzten Jahres führte Phillips in Hong Kong die Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art & Design Day Sale in association with Yongle durch, in der auch die Arbeit Tania-Maria von Rebecca Brodskis zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 81.900,00 (€ 10.163,12) und damit 17% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Rebecca Brodskis mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Amour Propre (Self-Respect) beobachtet, die im Juni letzten Jahres für HKD 239.400,00 (€ 29.133,21) versteigert wurde.
