Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work L'interprète by Rebecca Brodskis was sold in the 20th Century & Contemporary Art: Online Auction auction at Phillips in 17 - in July this year. Here, the upper estimate of USD 8,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 8,890.00 (€ 8,067.15). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Rebecca Brodskis - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Amour Propre (Self-Respect), which sold at auction in June last year for HKD 239,400.00 (€ 29,133.21).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit L'interprète von Rebecca Brodskis wurde im Juli diesen Jahres in der Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art: Online Auction bei Phillips in 17 - versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 8.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 8.890,00 (€ 8.067,15) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Rebecca Brodskis mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Amour Propre (Self-Respect) beobachtet, die im Juni letzten Jahres für HKD 239.400,00 (€ 29.133,21) versteigert wurde.
