The work Henry VIII by Raqib Shaw was auctioned at Phillips in New York in November 2019. The result of USD 50,000.00 (€ 45,376.17) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Raqib Shaw achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Garden Of Earthly Delights Iii in October 2007 with an auction result of GBP 2,708,500.00 (€ 3,889,584.22).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit Henry VIII von Raqib Shaw kam im November 2019 bei Phillips in New York zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 50.000,00 (€ 45.376,17) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 50.000,00 – 70.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Raqib Shaw erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Garden Of Earthly Delights Iii im Oktober 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 2.708.500,00 (€ 3.889.584,22).
