In April 2019 Christies in London held the auction First Open | Online, which included the work Death, Beauty and Justice IV by Raqib Shaw. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 25,000.00 (€ 29,082.22), 25% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Raqib Shaw achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Garden Of Earthly Delights Iii in October 2007 with an auction result of GBP 2,708,500.00 (€ 3,889,584.22).

Im April 2019 führte Christies in London die Auktion First Open | Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Death, Beauty and Justice IV von Raqib Shaw zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 25.000,00 (€ 29.082,22) und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Raqib Shaw erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Garden Of Earthly Delights Iii im Oktober 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 2.708.500,00 (€ 3.889.584,22).
