Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Rachel Harrison could be acquired at Phillips in New York in October this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Editions & Works on Paper auction, the work where's my fucking peanut changed hands for USD 635.00 (€ 600.87) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Rachel Harrison achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Nineties in March last year with an auction result of USD 88,200.00 (€ 79,509.60).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Rachel Harrison konnte im Oktober diesen Jahres bei Phillips in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Editions & Works on Paper wechselte die Arbeit where's my fucking peanut für USD 635,00 (€ 600,87) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Rachel Harrison erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Nineties im März letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 88.200,00 (€ 79.509,60).
