Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Piero Golia could be acquired at Sothebys in London in October 2017 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Contemporary Art Day Auction auction, the work Constellation Painting #13 changed hands for GBP 6,875.00 (€ 7,838.85) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Piero Golia - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Untitled (12 Degrees From The Ground), which sold at auction in March 2014 for GBP 20,000.00 (€ 24,207.01).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Piero Golia konnte im Oktober 2017 bei Sothebys in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Contemporary Art Day Auction wechselte die Arbeit Constellation Painting #13 für GBP 6.875,00 (€ 7.838,85) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Piero Golia mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Untitled (12 Degrees From The Ground) beobachtet, die im März 2014 für GBP 20.000,00 (€ 24.207,01) versteigert wurde.
