Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Piero Golia could be acquired at Christies in New York in August 2018 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Horizon | Post-War and Contemporary Art auction, the work Constellation Painting #3 changed hands for USD 6,000.00 (€ 5,174.20) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Admittedly, works by Piero Golia have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Untitled (12 Degrees From The Ground) in March 2014 with an auction result of GBP 20,000.00 (€ 24,207.01).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Piero Golia konnte im August 2018 bei Christies in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Horizon | Post-War and Contemporary Art wechselte die Arbeit Constellation Painting #3 für USD 6.000,00 (€ 5.174,20) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Piero Golia auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Untitled (12 Degrees From The Ground) im März 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 20.000,00 (€ 24.207,01).
