Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2015 Sothebys in London held the auction Bear Witness | #SothebysBearWitness, which included the work Untitled Blanket by Piero Golia. The price achieved of GBP 6,250.00 (€ 8,640.96) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Piero Golia - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Untitled (12 Degrees From The Ground), which sold at auction in March 2014 for GBP 20,000.00 (€ 24,207.01).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März 2015 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Bear Witness | #SothebysBearWitness durch, in der auch die Arbeit Untitled Blanket von Piero Golia zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 6.250,00 (€ 8.640,96) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Piero Golia mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Untitled (12 Degrees From The Ground) beobachtet, die im März 2014 für GBP 20.000,00 (€ 24.207,01) versteigert wurde.
