It achieved a price of USD 1,500.00 (€ 1,273.99), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 25%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Philip Pearlstein achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Model With Empire State Building in November 2010 with an auction result of USD 170,500.00 (€ 130,791.65).

Die Arbeit Temple at Paestum von Philip Pearlstein kam im Juli 2020 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 1.500,00 (€ 1.273,99) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 25%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Philip Pearlstein erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Model With Empire State Building im November 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 170.500,00 (€ 130.791,65).
