In July last year Bonhams in New York held the auction Post-War & Contemporary Art Online, which included the work Two Models with Burmese Marionettes by Philip Pearlstein. The »bidding war« ended at USD 69,675.00 (€ 68,295.43), 39% above the upper estimate. Other works by Philip Pearlstein have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of USD 170,500.00 (€ 130,791.65) in November 2010 for the work Model With Empire State Building.

Im Juli letzten Jahres führte Bonhams in New York die Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Two Models with Burmese Marionettes von Philip Pearlstein zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 69.675,00 (€ 68.295,43) und damit 39% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Andere Arbeiten von Philip Pearlstein haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von USD 170.500,00 (€ 130.791,65) im November 2010 für die Arbeit Model With Empire State Building beobachtet.
