Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Study for Pavilion 1 by Paul Winstanley was sold in the Contemporary Art Part II auction at Phillips in New York in May 2010. The price achieved of USD 6,000.00 (€ 4,850.84) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Admittedly, works by Paul Winstanley have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Interior (Boodles) in October 2007 with an auction result of GBP 18,500.00 (€ 26,567.22).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Study for Pavilion 1 von Paul Winstanley wurde im Mai 2010 in der Auktion Contemporary Art Part II bei Phillips in New York versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 6.000,00 (€ 4.850,84) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Paul Winstanley auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Interior (Boodles) im Oktober 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 18.500,00 (€ 26.567,22).
