Auction result misses estimated price range
In April 2018 a collector was able to acquire the work Walkway Ii by Paul Winstanley for GBP 2,500.00 (€ 2,847.23). This price was achieved in the auction Contemporary Curated at Sothebys in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 3,000.00 – 4,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Paul Winstanley have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Interior (Boodles) in October 2007 with an auction result of GBP 18,500.00 (€ 26,567.22).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im April 2018 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Walkway Ii von Paul Winstanley für GBP 2.500,00 (€ 2.847,23) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Contemporary Curated bei Sothebys in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 3.000,00 – 4.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Paul Winstanley auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Interior (Boodles) im Oktober 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 18.500,00 (€ 26.567,22).
