Sold at the lower estimate price
The work Walkway by Paul Winstanley was sold in the Post-War & Contemporary Art auction at Christies in Amsterdam in November 2018. The result of EUR 3,000.00 was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Admittedly, works by Paul Winstanley have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Interior (Boodles) in October 2007 with an auction result of GBP 18,500.00 (€ 26,567.22).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit Walkway von Paul Winstanley wurde im November 2018 in der Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von EUR 3.000,00 entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Paul Winstanley auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Interior (Boodles) im Oktober 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 18.500,00 (€ 26.567,22).
