Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Paul Noble was auctioned at Sothebys in London in June 2007. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 20,000.00 – 30,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 21,600.00 (€ 32,053.31) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Paul Noble - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Nobsend, which sold at auction in October 2007 for GBP 60,000.00 (€ 86,163.95).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Paul Noble kam im Juni 2007 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 21.600,00 (€ 32.053,31) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von Paul Noble mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Nobsend beobachtet, die im Oktober 2007 für GBP 60.000,00 (€ 86.163,95) versteigert wurde.
