In September 2011 Sothebys in New York held the auction Contemporary Art, which included the work Figure by Paul Burlin. The »bidding war« ended at USD 20,000.00 (€ 14,870.99), 33% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Paul Burlin - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Signs I, which sold at auction in May this year for USD 40,695.00 (€ 38,196.92).

Im September 2011 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Figure von Paul Burlin zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 20.000,00 (€ 14.870,99) und damit 33% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Paul Burlin mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Signs I beobachtet, die im Mai diesen Jahres für USD 40.695,00 (€ 38.196,92) versteigert wurde.
