In March 2021 Christies in London held the auction Impressionist and Modern Art Day and Works on Paper Sale, which included the work Závodní Auto (Racing Car) by Otakar Švec. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 5,000.00 (€ 5,873.71), 67% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Otakar Švec achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Czech sunbeam - Motorcyclist (Sluneční Paprsek - Motocyklista) in June 2011 with an auction result of GBP 139,250.00 (€ 154,054.24).

Im März 2021 führte Christies in London die Auktion Impressionist and Modern Art Day and Works on Paper Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Závodní Auto (Racing Car) von Otakar Švec zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 5.000,00 (€ 5.873,71) und damit 67% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Otakar Švec erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Czech sunbeam - Motorcyclist (Sluneční Paprsek - Motocyklista) im Juni 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 139.250,00 (€ 154.054,24).
