In the The Hascoe Family Collection: Important Czech Art auction, the work Czecdouble Portrait Of Actors Voskovec And Werich (Dvojportrét Herců Voskovce A Wericha) sold for GBP 4,000.00 (€ 4,425.26) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Otakar Švec achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Czech sunbeam - Motorcyclist (Sluneční Paprsek - Motocyklista) in June 2011 with an auction result of GBP 139,250.00 (€ 154,054.24).
