This price was achieved in the auction Impressionist and Modern Art Day and Works on Paper Sale at Christies in London and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of GBP 30,000.00 many times over. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Otakar Kubin; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot La Récolte Des Pommes De Terre - Circa 1909 - 1910 sold at auction in March 2018 with the realized price of EUR 244,600.00.
