The »bidding war« ended at EUR 20,800.00 39% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Otakar Kubin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work La Récolte Des Pommes De Terre - Circa 1909 - 1910 in March 2018 with an auction result of EUR 244,600.00.

Die Arbeit Paysage Aux Environs De Simiane - Circa 1927 von Otakar Kubin wurde im März 2019 in der Auktion 20th Century Art 1900-1950 bei Artcurial in Paris versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 20.800,00 und damit 39% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Otakar Kubin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit La Récolte Des Pommes De Terre - Circa 1909 - 1910 im März 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 244.600,00.
