Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Tucano by Omar Rayo was auctioned at Phillips in New York in February 2019. The price achieved of USD 25,000.00 (€ 21,970.30) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Admittedly, works by Omar Rayo have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Ola-Zen I in November 2017 with an auction result of USD 125,000.00 (€ 105,059.67).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Tucano von Omar Rayo kam im Februar 2019 bei Phillips in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 25.000,00 (€ 21.970,30) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Omar Rayo auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Ola-Zen I im November 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 125.000,00 (€ 105.059,67).
