A top price for Nicolas Tarkhoff - as previously expected
The work Russian Les Travaux Des Champs by Nicolas Tarkhoff was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in November 2008. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 300,000.00 – 400,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 314,500.00 (€ 247,754.84) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Russian Les Travaux Des Champs is the most expensive artwork by Nicolas Tarkhoff that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Russian Les Travaux Des Champs von Nicolas Tarkhoff kam im November 2008 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 300.000,00 – 400.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 314.500,00 (€ 247.754,84) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
