Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Station de Cochers by Nicolas Tarkhoff was sold in the Russian Pictures auction at Sothebys in London in December 2020. It changed hands for a price of GBP 32,760.00 (€ 36,595.84) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 25,000.00 – 35,000.00. Admittedly, works by Nicolas Tarkhoff have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Russian Les Travaux Des Champs in November 2008 with an auction result of USD 314,500.00 (€ 247,754.84).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Station de Cochers von Nicolas Tarkhoff wurde im Dezember 2020 in der Auktion Russian Pictures bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 32.760,00 (€ 36.595,84) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 25.000,00 – 35.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Nicolas Tarkhoff auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Russian Les Travaux Des Champs im November 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 314.500,00 (€ 247.754,84).
