In November 2021 Sothebys in London held the auction Russian Pictures, which included the work Plage ensoleillée by Nicolas Tarkhoff. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 22,680.00 (€ 26,628.45), 51% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Nicolas Tarkhoff have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Russian Les Travaux Des Champs in November 2008 with an auction result of USD 314,500.00 (€ 247,754.84).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 51 % übertroffen
Im November 2021 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Russian Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit Plage ensoleillée von Nicolas Tarkhoff zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 22.680,00 (€ 26.628,45) und damit 51% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Nicolas Tarkhoff auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Russian Les Travaux Des Champs im November 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 314.500,00 (€ 247.754,84).
