The work Trois tournesols by Nicolas Tarkhoff was sold in the Impressionist & Modern Art auction at Bonhams in April this year. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 7,012.50 (€ 7,991.96), 40% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Nicolas Tarkhoff achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Russian Les Travaux Des Champs in November 2008 with an auction result of USD 314,500.00 (€ 247,754.84).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 40 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Trois tournesols von Nicolas Tarkhoff wurde im April diesen Jahres in der Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art bei Bonhams versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 7.012,50 (€ 7.991,96) und damit 40% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Nicolas Tarkhoff erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Russian Les Travaux Des Champs im November 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 314.500,00 (€ 247.754,84).
