Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Opus One by Naum Gabo was auctioned at Bonhams in London in December 2020. It achieved a price of GBP 1,785.00 (€ 1,994.00), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 19%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Naum Gabo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Linear Construction in Space No. 2 in October 2019 with an auction result of GBP 515,250.00 (€ 597,653.05).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Opus One von Naum Gabo kam im Dezember 2020 bei Bonhams in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 1.785,00 (€ 1.994,00) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 19%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Naum Gabo erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Linear Construction in Space No. 2 im Oktober 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 515.250,00 (€ 597.653,05).
