A top price for Naum Gabo
This artwork by Naum Gabo achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in October 2019. In the The Jeremy Lancaster Collection auction, the work Linear Construction in Space No. 2 sold for GBP 515,250.00 (€ 597,653.05) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 200,000.00. This high result makes Linear Construction in Space No. 2 the most expensive artwork by Naum Gabo that we have observed at auctions so far.
