Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Opus: I-XII by Naum Gabo was auctioned at Christies in New York in April this year. It achieved a price of USD 35,280.00 (€ 31,956.52), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 18%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Naum Gabo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Linear Construction in Space No. 2 in October 2019 with an auction result of GBP 515,250.00 (€ 597,653.05).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Opus: I-XII von Naum Gabo kam im April diesen Jahres bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 35.280,00 (€ 31.956,52) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 18%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Naum Gabo erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Linear Construction in Space No. 2 im Oktober 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 515.250,00 (€ 597.653,05).
