Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Moshe Kupferman could be acquired at Christies in New York in April this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the The Sale of the Century: An Important Corporate Collection of Prints and Multiples: Online auction, the work Twenty prints by the artist changed hands for USD 882.00 (€ 798.91) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Moshe Kupferman achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in April 2007 with an auction result of USD 26,400.00 (€ 19,326.50).
