Auction result misses estimated price range
In December 2016 a collector was able to acquire this work without title by Moshe Kupferman for USD 2,375.00 (€ 2,250.76). This price was achieved in the auction Israeli & International Art at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 2,500.00 – 3,500.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Moshe Kupferman have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in April 2007 with an auction result of USD 26,400.00 (€ 19,326.50).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Dezember 2016 konnte ein Sammler diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Moshe Kupferman für USD 2.375,00 (€ 2.250,76) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Israeli & International Art bei Sothebys in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 2.500,00 – 3.500,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Moshe Kupferman auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im April 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 26.400,00 (€ 19.326,50).
