Auction result well in line with expectations
In February this year Bruun Rasmussen held the auction Modern art and design, which included this untitled work by Moshe Kupferman. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of DKK 6,000.00 – 8,000.00, the actual price achieved of DKK 6,500.00 (€ 873.04) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Moshe Kupferman achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in April 2007 with an auction result of USD 26,400.00 (€ 19,326.50).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Februar diesen Jahres führte Bruun Rasmussen die Auktion Modern art and design durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Moshe Kupferman zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von DKK 6.000,00 – 8.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von DKK 6.500,00 (€ 873,04) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Moshe Kupferman erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im April 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 26.400,00 (€ 19.326,50).
