Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In December 2017 Sothebys in New York held the auction Israeli & International Art, which included the work Untitled (Three Works) by Moshe Kupferman. Here, the upper estimate of USD 8,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 8,125.00 (€ 6,758.44). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Moshe Kupferman - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work without title, which sold at auction in April 2007 for USD 26,400.00 (€ 19,326.50).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Dezember 2017 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Israeli & International Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Untitled (Three Works) von Moshe Kupferman zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 8.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 8.125,00 (€ 6.758,44) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Moshe Kupferman mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit ohne Titel beobachtet, die im April 2007 für USD 26.400,00 (€ 19.326,50) versteigert wurde.
