Auction result misses estimated price range
In April this year a collector was able to acquire the work Until the Last Moment by Moshe Gershuni for USD 37.80 (€ 34.24). This price was achieved in the auction The Sale of the Century: An Important Corporate Collection of Prints and Multiples: Online at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 50.00 – 100.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Moshe Gershuni achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in November 2009 with an auction result of USD 59,375.00 (€ 39,599.17).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im April diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Until the Last Moment von Moshe Gershuni für USD 37,80 (€ 34,24) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion The Sale of the Century: An Important Corporate Collection of Prints and Multiples: Online bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 50,00 – 100,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Moshe Gershuni erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im November 2009 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 59.375,00 (€ 39.599,17).
