Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In December 2013 Sothebys in New York held the auction Israeli & International Art, which included this untitled work by Moshe Gershuni. Here, the upper estimate of USD 8,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 8,125.00 (€ 5,896.65). Admittedly, works by Moshe Gershuni have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in November 2009 with an auction result of USD 59,375.00 (€ 39,599.17).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Dezember 2013 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Israeli & International Art durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Moshe Gershuni zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 8.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 8.125,00 (€ 5.896,65) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Moshe Gershuni auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im November 2009 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 59.375,00 (€ 39.599,17).
