Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2014 Sothebys in New York held the auction Israeli & International Art, which included the work Hey Soldier, I Am Coming by Moshe Gershuni. The price achieved of USD 5,313.00 (€ 4,390.55) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Admittedly, works by Moshe Gershuni have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in November 2009 with an auction result of USD 59,375.00 (€ 39,599.17).
