Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Moshe Gershuni was sold in the Israeli & International Art auction at Sothebys in New York in December 2015. The price achieved of USD 13,750.00 (€ 12,662.31) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Moshe Gershuni - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work without title, which sold at auction in November 2009 for USD 59,375.00 (€ 39,599.17).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Moshe Gershuni wurde im Dezember 2015 in der Auktion Israeli & International Art bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 13.750,00 (€ 12.662,31) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 12.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Moshe Gershuni mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit ohne Titel beobachtet, die im November 2009 für USD 59.375,00 (€ 39.599,17) versteigert wurde.
