Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Moshe Gershuni could be acquired at Sothebys in New York in November 2019 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Israeli and International Art auction, the work There changed hands for USD 12,500.00 (€ 11,344.04) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Moshe Gershuni - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work without title, which sold at auction in November 2009 for USD 59,375.00 (€ 39,599.17).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Moshe Gershuni konnte im November 2019 bei Sothebys in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Israeli and International Art wechselte die Arbeit There für USD 12.500,00 (€ 11.344,04) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Moshe Gershuni mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit ohne Titel beobachtet, die im November 2009 für USD 59.375,00 (€ 39.599,17) versteigert wurde.
