Auction result misses estimated price range

This work of art by Misaki Kawai could be acquired at Sothebys in New York in June 2013 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Contemporary Art auction, the work Himalaya Space Station changed hands for USD 375.00 (€ 288.24) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Misaki Kawai achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Jungle Love in March 2021 with an auction result of USD 9,375.00 (€ 7,983.48).
