Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled (2 Men Playing Football) by Misaki Kawai was auctioned at Sothebys in London in December 2021. The price achieved of GBP 1,008.00 (€ 1,202.33) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00. Admittedly, works by Misaki Kawai have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Jungle Love in March 2021 with an auction result of USD 9,375.00 (€ 7,983.48).
