This artwork by Misaki Kawai achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in December 2019. In the The Hoarder Sale auction, the work without title sold for GBP 375.00 (€ 443.21) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Misaki Kawai achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Jungle Love in March 2021 with an auction result of USD 9,375.00 (€ 7,983.48).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 88 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Misaki Kawai erzielte im Dezember 2019 bei Sothebys in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion The Hoarder Sale wurde diese Arbeit ohne Titel für GBP 375,00 (€ 443,21) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 200,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Misaki Kawai erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Jungle Love im März 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 9.375,00 (€ 7.983,48).
