Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In December 2021 Sothebys in London held the auction The Hoarder: Part III, which included the work "NO" by Misaki Kawai. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 1,200.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 1,260.00 (€ 1,502.92). Admittedly, works by Misaki Kawai have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Jungle Love in March 2021 with an auction result of USD 9,375.00 (€ 7,983.48).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Dezember 2021 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion The Hoarder: Part III durch, in der auch die Arbeit "NO" von Misaki Kawai zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 1.200,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 1.260,00 (€ 1.502,92) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Misaki Kawai auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Jungle Love im März 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 9.375,00 (€ 7.983,48).
