It achieved a price of GBP 1,890.00 (€ 2,254.37), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 26%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Misaki Kawai - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Jungle Love, which sold at auction in March 2021 for USD 9,375.00 (€ 7,983.48).

Die Arbeit Number 22 von Misaki Kawai wurde im Dezember 2021 in der Auktion The Hoarder: Part III bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 1.890,00 (€ 2.254,37) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 26%. Für andere Arbeiten von Misaki Kawai mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Jungle Love beobachtet, die im März 2021 für USD 9.375,00 (€ 7.983,48) versteigert wurde.
