Auction result well in line with expectations
The work "Mirrors", 2010 by Miriam Bäckström was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in November 2021. The price achieved of SEK 165,000.00 (€ 16,095.07) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as SEK 150,000.00 – 200,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Miriam Bäckström - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work "29 Variations of Light", 2002, which sold at auction in November 2011 for SEK 400,000.00 (€ 44,005.05).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit "Mirrors", 2010 von Miriam Bäckström kam im November 2021 bei Bukowski in Stockholm zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von SEK 165.000,00 (€ 16.095,07) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit SEK 150.000,00 – 200.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Miriam Bäckström mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit "29 Variations of Light", 2002 beobachtet, die im November 2011 für SEK 400.000,00 (€ 44.005,05) versteigert wurde.
